Rawat Mishthan Bhandar is a renowned sweet and snacks shop in the pink city. It would not be an exaggeration to say that a trip to Jaipur is incomplete without a visit to this iconic shop for their delish Pyaaz Kachori. Now for the uninitiated, Kachori is a flaky, deep-fried pastry that features a range of fillings, from spicy lentils to sweet Mawa. For Pyaaz Kachori, soft dough is rolled out and stuffed with a savoury mix of onions and potatoes. It is then folded as a round patty and deep-fried in oil until crispy. Crispy, golden and crunchy on the outside, and soft and wholesome on the inside, pyaaz kachori is often served with sweet and tangy imli chutney or spicy green chutney. That’s right, since it is one of the heavier Kachoris, it is usually not served with potato curry.
