For those who grew up on a healthy dose of MTV during the late 90’s and early 2000’s, Mini Mathur’s recent video showing the VJs enjoying a reunion party would bring back fond memories. The blast from the past gathering – which brought together famous faces like Malaika and Amrita Arora, Shenaz Treasury, Gaurav Kapoor, Cyrus Broacha, Kunal Vijaykar, Nikhil Chinappa, Cyrus Sahukar, Maria Goretti and Ashmit Patel among others, was hosted by Mini herself – who made sure that her guests had the best time laughing, chatting and eating.
Mathur, who pulled out all stops to ensure that the attendees were well-fed, had three cakes – one, a decadent chocolate creation coated with ganache, another with fresh slices of mango and a third which was decorated with strawberries and a chocolate placard that said ‘OGS+GK MTV ENJOY’ piped on top. In addition to this, the former TV host also laid our an exquisite grazing table decked with cucumber finger sandwiches, open toasts with mushroom pate, a bowl of salad, chocolate cupcakes and cold cuts.

The menu also included a large bowl of hummus with crudites, flaky tart shells with some kind of a savoury filling and red velvet cupcakes. The arrangement also included a cheese platter that held a whole wheel of brie and accoutrements to enjoy with the soft cheese. The group, which also included Anusha Dandekar and Preeta Sukhtankar had more than one reason to celebrate since Shenaz also brought in her birthday with the mango cake which had ‘Happy Birthday Shenasty’ emblazoned on its surface. The reunion, which had everyone in good spirits also saw the host feeding some red grapes to the birthday girl in a snapshot of the video.
