The unusual combination of the ingredients used to make Masaba’s latest ice lolly would come as a surprise to everyone. Instead of using tap water, her husband Satyadeep Misra used bhindi water. As per a study published in the journal Molecules in 2021, okra water is highly recommended to boost metabolism as it enhances cholesterol degradation.

Then came the mix of some of the lip-smacking fruits like pineapple, lemon, and mango. Depending on your preference, you can either finely blend them or use a pulpy texture and then freeze them to make an ice lolly. Taking good care of the mom-to-be, Masaba’s husband used the natural sweetener date powder instead of refined sugar for the ice lolly.

If you are following the list of the same ingredients, all you need to do is mix them vigorously till you get a smooth and even consistency. Once thorough, you can pour the mixture into moulds and freeze them for 3-4 hours or till the time the ice lollies are set. You can then take the moulds out, remove the popsicles, and lick the guilt-free frozen dessert.
