The newly-opened South Indian café in Bandra called Benne, has been the go-to spot for multiple celebs over the last couple of weeks, in order to get their fill of authentic Bengaluru-style dosas and coffee. With Dia Mirza being one of the first people to have paid a visit to the tiny joint to enjoy Bangalore Masala Dosa, Akki Roti, Podi Idlis and Mysore Pak, fashion designer followed suit closely a few days after. Masaba, who is currently expecting her first child, has been on a spree of indulgences when it comes to food.

The mama-to-be, who was delighted with her experience of relishing offerings like the iced Horlicks, podi idli and dosa, vada, thatte idli – all with an extra portion of chutney, expressed her gratitude and fondness for the eatery on social media. Sharing a collage of photohgraphs from her visit, Masaba captioned the stories saying, “The best podi idli of my life and the vada is out of this planet. @benne.bombay thank you for feeding me my baby and I love you forever and will be here once a week!” She also added a list of must-haves at the café – which included the iced Horlicks beverage, thatte idli, podi dosa and vada – deeming it as the best spot in the city for South Indian food.
