Malaika is a devoted foodie in the film industry who maintains a balance between her cravings and dietary requirements. While on most days she follows a healthy and light diet, it is on the weekends that you will find her indulging in good food. Take the recent Sunday feast, for instance.

The actor recently posted stories on her Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of the lavish desi feast that she was devouring before the Monday blues hit her. In the picture, one could spot several Indian dishes kept on the table. These included a hearty chicken biryani, a bowl of mutton curry, yellow dal, palak paneer, and raita, along with pav and parathas to go with it.

She captioned it, "Sunday Guffffff...." and we were absolutely drooling over it. The entire meal was home-cooked, and this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen Malaika relishing homemade food. Earlier too, we saw her having a bowl of Punjabi kadhi. For the unfamiliar, kadhi is a yellow yoghurt-based Indian curry that is dunked with fried onion fritters.

Another Sunday we saw her eating a plateful of biryani, and she said, "Sunday= Biryani," and we totally agree with her. This is not to say that she doesn’t follow a healthy diet. On other days when it’s a no cheat day, she would be having salads like this feta watermelon salad she had some time back or a vegan millet porridge for breakfast.
