Let’s just agree that no matter how much we gush over our favourite restaurants or even the most exclusive dishes at some exotic destination, nothing beats the comfort and warmth of homemade food, especially if it was made with love by a close friend or family member. And, if you enjoy cooking, isn't working in the kitchen great therapy? Bollywood diva Malaika Arora would definitely agree. Her love for food and cooking is no secret, as she often posts a variety of foods on her social media. Be it a simple khichdi, a royal feast of biryani, or an elaborate south Indian fare, home-cooked treats occupy most of the space on her dining table and Instagram. While the actor loves to cook, we all understand how there are days when she just doesn't want to cook. And thankfully, Malaika has friends to rely on for days like such. Friends who not only don't let her down but also spoil her with a lavish spread!

The actress recently took to Instagram to share a photo of a lavish spread of food, including dhokla, bhindi (okra), aloo matar, dahi bhalla, and a bowl of what seemed to be coconut chutney, among a range of other delicacies. The meal also featured a host of chutneys, including green chutney, sonth ki chutney, pickles, and some piping hot puris on the side. Phew! That's definitely quite a mouthwatering spread! Prepared by Malaika's good friend Delnaz Daruwala, Malaika thanked her and wrote in the caption, "Delnaz Daruwala, you have outdone yourself... Kudos." She added a bunch of salute emojis. Malaika is known to have a soft spot for home-cooked meals, as she herself loves to don the chef's hat and cook up a storm in the kitchen. She once posted a photo of her desi indulgence and revealed the reason behind her happiness in the caption: "Sattu paratha + dahi (curd) + garlic pickle + aloo sabji + salad = happiness."
