The reason avocado toast makes for an ideal breakfast because it is a great source of dietary fibre (especially if you’re choosing flax, oat bran or multi-grain bread) which is important for digestive health and can help you feel fuller for longer periods, reducing the likelihood of overeating later in the day. A single avocado can contain around 13-15 grams of fibre, depending on its size.

Avocados are also a good source of natural energy due to their healthy fats and carbohydrates. Starting your day with avocado toast can provide you with sustained energy to kickstart your morning. No wonder Malaika loves this number for her brekkie. She also shared a snap of a flaky baklava from Mumbai brand Hurrems which is known for its Turkish delicacies.

“Jus what I need to lift ny spirits… some @hurremsbaklaba,” she wrote alongside a heart emoji. But Malaika’s day wasn't all about indulgences as she also shared a snap of her morning green juice. The actor has often shared that she does not believe in staving herself and believes in a balanced, energy-boosting diet, consumed over a certain time frame. Malaika tends to start her day with some jeera water or coconut water, after which she moves on to nuts and then a balance of carbs, good fats and protein.
