How to make chocolate chip almond cookies:

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter ( unsalted )
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup chopped dark chocolates ( pick almond chocolate )
  • Flaky salt to sprinkle

Recipe

  • Start with preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Take a large bowl, put the butter and sugar and whisk it with a hand mixer. Whisk it until you see fluffiness in its texture. 
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt; whisk on medium speed until a smooth dough is ready. 
  • Add chopped chocolates to the dough.
  • Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet 5 cm apart and lightly sprinkle the salt.
  • Bake for 8 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and pat the counter several times to flatten the cookies.
  • Return the foil to the oven and bake for another 1-2 minutes until the cookie is solid around the edges but still slightly mushy in the center. 
  • Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before moving to the cooling grill to cool completely. 

Tip: Do not forget to add some chocolate chips to the dough.

You can store these cookies for up to a week in an airtight container at room temperature.
