If you’re favourite memory from being in school is rushing to the canteen during recess to grab a snack, then actor Kunal Kapoor’s recent Instagram post is sure to warm your heart! The Rang De Basanti actor was recently in his alma mater school Jamnabai Narsee in Mumbai to interact with students, after a span of 25 years and did what most of us are likely to do – get an after-school snack. He shared a picture of himself holding a vada pav from the school canteen on social media with extra bowls of green chutney on the side.

He captioned the image, “Back to school after many years as a speaker. Happy to report that the vada pav tastes as good as it did 25 years ago.” He appeared to be all smiles as he posed for the camera, seemingly excited to take a bite. Kapoor was dressed down in a simple white T-shirt as he was seated in the canteen to enjoy his favourite childhood snack. The actor, who has previously advocated that his diet is a ‘non-negotiable’ part of his fitness regime, has also admitted to having a few cheat days in-between.

Kapoor is also a big believer in a holistic approach to fitness – where mental well-being plays as much an important role in staying healthy, as much as physical. He has raved about the positive effects of meditation and breathing exercises, with which he starts his day, before following his routine diet. That said, his happiness of enjoying this inexpensive Mumbaiya snack surely brought back a rush of memories! Tell us what your favourite childhood snack was, in the comments below.
