Actors are just like us…and Kriti Sanon’s need to relish a plate of hot jalebis in the cold, is no different than most of us would do! The national award-winning Sanon, who is busy shooting for her next film – Do Patti – in Manali, posted a series of photographs where she let her fans in on what goes on between action and cut. In-between filming, she was busy petting mountain dogs, basking in the sun, spending time with her crew and best of all, enjoying a pile of freshly fried, crisp jalebis.

The rather large stack, which looked like it was meant to be shared, seemed like the perfect treat for everyone who braved low temperatures. Known to have a serious sweet tooth, Sanon has never shied away from expressing her love for sugary treats. Only recently, she took to social media to share a picture of some besan barfi that she sourced from Delhi’s Om Bakery – declaring it to be her favourite sweet treat of all time. A fiend for seasonal Indian sweets, the Mimi actress has previously enjoyed digging into aamras-puri during the summers too.

While sweets largely make up for her cheat meals – that include everything from chocolate cake to gulab jamun and macaroons – Sanon is watchful about finding the right balance between eating what she likes and working out to burn off those extra calories. That she is blessed with good metabolism, only works to her favour since the sweet lover hasn’t been known to turn away fresh ghevar during the monsoons either. Kriti’s love for Indian sweets is starting to give us a sugar craving and while we go find some jalebis to sink our teeth into, tell us what your favourite winter desserts are, in the comments!
