Katrina Kaif is arguably one of the biggest fitness icons in the country. She is also known to be a strict taskmaster when she hits the gym with friends. Both Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra revealed how Katrina pushed them to work extra hard, when the three were training together during the ‘Dream Tour’. Now, Siddharth Malhotra, her co-star from Baar Baar Dekho spilled some beans about her dedication to fitness.  

In a recent episode of Koffee With Karan, where Siddharth appeared with Katrina’s husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, he got candid about Katrina’s work ethic and true love for fitness. He said that Katrina trained rigorously for the chartbuster song Kaala Chashma, and that she was also chewing on ice cubes in between the takes.

Chewing on ice cubes is actually a very common practice among fitness enthusiasts now. It is said that doing so may help burn calories, as it takes energy from the body to melt those cubes. Chewing on something as plain as an ice cube can also help tighten your jawlines, without calorie overload. 

However, it must be made sure that you do not go overboard. Chewing too many ice cubes may lead to loss of tooth enamel and tooth decay. It must also be understood that for steady and sustainable weight-loss, you have to have a good diet and workout regimen too. Here also, you can take a cue from Katrina.

Katrina Kaif's Diet

The Bollywood actor tries to train six days a week for at least 45 minutes. She loves having eggs for breakfast. In the recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Vicky revealed that Katrina can also make nice eggs. She’s big on poached eggs, eggs Benedict and hollandaise sauce. She also likes sweet potatoes a lot, so yes, carbs are not completely off the list for Katrina. Her favourite fish is salmon, and she usually has it for lunch with a little sweet potato mash and green veggies. On days she is not eating salmon, she eats chicken for protein.
