For many married women across North India, Karwa Chauth is one of the most important festivals of the year. A key ritual for Karwa Chauth celebrations is keeping a day-long fast for the wellbeing of the husband, and the day before Karwa Chauth is dedicated to preparing for the fast. Keeping this tradition in mind, Kiara Advani shared a couple of posts showing off all her special prep for her first Karwa Chauth with husband Sidharth Malhotra, and it was all about pancakes

The fact that Kiara Advani loves her pancakes is very well known as she has posted all about her own pancake cooking adventures time and time again. Naturally then, on the day before Karwa Chauth, Kiara Advani wanted to indulge her sweet tooth and bite into some delicious pancakes. In a story posted by Kiara Advani on Instagram, her particular choice for pancake indulgence was shared with great gusto.

In her Instagram story, Kiara Advani posted a quick clip of a plate loaded with pancakes. The pancakes themselves were perfectly golden brown, fluffy and looking delicious on the plate. The clip shared by Kiara Advani showed a generous drizzle of maple syrup or honey being poured over the golden pancakes, making the dish even more droolworthy. On the side, a mug full of whipped cream is also visible, and we are sure Kiara Advani enjoyed that too!

While Kiara Advani did not mention the name of the place where she enjoyed this delicious plate of pancakes for her pre-Karwa Chauth indulgence, she did mention that it was her “feast day”. The actress did not directly mention Karwa Chauth, but it is well known that both Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra have recently travelled to his Delhi home for their first Karwa Chauth celebrations since their wedding earlier this year.

In another story on Instagram, Kiara Advani showed off her minimal mehendi, which is traditionally applied a day before Karwa Chauth celebrations as a symbol of married life. Given that Kiara Advani is in Delhi for Karwa Chauth, which is quite the hub of grand celebrations by women keeping the fast on this festive occasion, we are sure she has also received a traditional Sargi Thali full of delicious goodies and will be sharing more about her experience as the day proceeds.
