Sabudana Khichadi - Upvas Special
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Sabudana / Sago
- ½ cup peanuts
- 2 medium-sized boiled potatoes
- 1 inch of ginger
- 2 green chillies
- 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp of vegetable ghee
- 1 tsp jaggery powder
- Few curry leaves
- Pinch of pink salt
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp OZiva Organic Plant Protein
Method:
- Rinse sabudana / sago pearls thoroughly
- Use 1 cup of water to soak for 30 minutes.
- Drain the water and soak in a fresh cup of water for 4-5 hrs. Strain well
- Roast peanuts for 8-10 minutes
- Heat ghee and add cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger and green chillies.
- Fry boiled potatoes
- Add pink salt (as per taste)
- Add OZiva Organic Plant Protein
- Add sabudana / sago
- Mix lightly and cook it for 1-2 minutes
- Garnish with lemon juice and coriander leaves
Ghugni / Matar Chaat - Bengali Style
Ingredients:
- 2 cups yellow peas
- ½ cup sliced onions
- ½ cup tomatoes (roughly chopped)
- 2-3 dried red chillies and bay leaves
- 2 slit green chillies
- ½ tsp turmeric powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, black pepper powder
- 1 tsp bhuna masala and ginger garlic paste
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp OZiva Plant-Based Collagen Builder
Method:
- Soak yellow peas overnight
- Put 5 cups water, add turmeric and salt along with soaked yellow peas in a pressure cooker for 5 whistles
- Heat oil in the pan and add dried red chillies and bay leaves
- Fry sliced onions until translucent
- Add all spices and mix with water
- Add tomatoes and sauté until mushy
- Add all spices

- Add cooked yellow peas and mix well
- Add 2 cups of boiled water and cover.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes
- Garnish with onions, green chillies and lemon juice
Grapes Banana Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup seedless black/red grapes
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/3rd cup curd
- 1/4th cup skimmed milk
- One scoop OZiva Protein and Herbs
Method: Put everything in a blender, mix till smooth and serve.
