Jamrul Smoothie

Dice jamrul finely, taking care to remove any seeds, to prepare jamrul salsa. Add the diced jamrul, diced tomato, minced jalapeño pepper, finely chopped onion, and chopped cilantro to a bowl. Add salt to taste and squeeze the juice of limes over the mixture. You can add a little bit of sliced mango or pineapple for more flavour depth. After combining all the ingredients gently, let the salsa stand for at least fifteen minutes so that the flavours can mix. You may easily modify this recipe to your own tastes by changing the amount of lime juice for tanginess or the amount of jalapeño for spiciness.

Jamrul And Mint Sorbet

This cool sorbet of mint and jamrul will help you stay cool on hot days. This is a luxurious dish that actually enhances the small natural sweetness found in jamrul and the contrast of mint. Preparing the simple syrup is the first step in making this sorbet. Take the sugar and add them to water in a pot, then heat them until the sugar dissolves completely. Take off the heat and stir in a few fresh mint leaves, allowing them to rest while the syrup cools. Remove any seeds off the jamrul and slice it. In a blender, puree the jamrul until smooth. Sift the mint syrup when it cools. Mix the mint syrup, lemon juice, and jamrul puree together. Transfer the blend into an ice cream container and freeze it for 4 to 5 hours.

A great method to preserve jamrul and enjoy its flavour all year long is with this spicy, slightly sweet chutney. It tastes well as a spread on sandwiches or as an addition to Indian cuisine. Finely chop the jamrul and add it to a pot with sugar, white vinegar, grated ginger, mustard seeds, and a small amount of salt to make jamrul chutney. When this is boiling, add more hot water, stir and let it simmer for 20–25 minutes with occasional stirring until the jamrul becomes soft and the sauce thickens. Add a pinch of red chilli flakes or a finely chopped green chilli for extra spiciness. After the chutney cools, pour it into a sterile, clean jar.

Savour a delectable and creamy dessert with coconut custard and jamrul. As directed on the packet, dissolve the agar-agar in warm water to make a delicious pudding with jamrul and coconut. Put the dissolved agar-agar, sugar, coconut milk, and jamrul puree in a saucepan. Make sure the sugar dissolves fully by mixing thoroughly and gradually heating all the ingredients together. After fully combined, take off the heat and whisk in the vanilla extract. Transfer the mixture into separate bowls or serving moulds, then chill for a minimum of two to three hours, or until solidified. Before serving, garnish with toasted coconut or fresh fruit to improve the dish's appearance and texture.
