Time and again, we come across some exotic creations as well as bizarre combinations which leave us stunned. The latter usually makes us feel disgusted when our beloved food items are meshed with each other to create things like oreo maggi, fanta maggi and what not. However, there are also times when we feel very amazed and surprised by the creativity of others. Amaury Guichon is one such pastry chef who has always been trending for the right reasons. Remember the time he created a life-size tiger for the Chinese New Year earlier this year?

This time, the pastry chef has brought us another marvelous creation i.e. a chocolate racing car. A lot of us like the idea of thrill and we look for ways to get that adrenaline rush in our bodies. Racing is one such fast-paced sport which gives you that inexplicable boost. However, what if you were to find out that the car you’re driving is actually edible? Wouldn’t it just blow your minds away? Here’s a sample of what Amaury Guichon has created recently.

He took to his Instagram account to share a video of the making of this chocolate-laden racing car. The caption tell us that, “It took 6 days in the making, it’s 60inch long and 40inch tall for an overall of 50lbs of dark chocolate”.  He begins with taking melted chocolate and pouring it into a variety of moulds. Each mould is set to give shape to each part of the car. Starting with the base, he then places the doors on the side and adds the front and back lights. He then adds the detailing to car with the seat, steering wheel, foot mats, car wheels and the other intricacies. He spray paints the entire car in orange while the steering is given a silver touch. Ultimately, after a few final touches, his racing car is ready to be driven, or rather eaten.

While video is nothing short of amazing, here are some chocolate desserts that you can try at home.

1.  Chocolate Peanut Butter Muffins

This is a flourless muffins recipe so no hassle. The gooey chocolate loaded muffins have hints of crunchy peanut butter in them and it tastes delicious. The bananas add to the sweetness of the muffins.

2.  Chocolate Pumpkin Magic Cake

This is a layered cake with each layer having a different flavour. The base is that of pumpkin pie while the upper layers consist of a chocolate cake and vanilla frosting. This magical cake has the goodness of three in it.

3.  Chocolate Bacon

You may have not known this before but meat and chocolate can actually go hand in hand. The crispy and salty bacon is covered in a layer of chocolate and frozen to be eaten later.
