Today, we invite you to taste delicious beer cocktails or "beertails" as we present a couple of delectable cocktail recipes to enjoy on International Beer Day. And who better than experienced mixologists Sushil Dhanai of Dhansoo cafe and Naveen Bisht of Café Staywoke in Gurugram to share two amazing beer cocktail recipes with us?

Tumse Na Ho Payega by Sushil Dhanai, Senior Mixologist, Dhansoo Cafe
As the name suggests, this beer cocktail is not light-weight at all. With a supreme combination of all your favourite spirits, the beertail is sure to test your drinking limits! This super interesting cocktail is fruity, with the correct amount of alcohol to keep you in a jolly good mood for the rest pf the day!
- 30ml Vodka
- 30 ml Domestic gin
- 30 ml Tequila
- 30 ml Rum
- 50 ml Lemon juice
- 100 ml Cranberry juice
- 20 ml Peach syrup
- 330 ml Beer
Method
- In a shaker with ice, combine vodka, rum, gin, tequila, lemon juice, and peach syrup.
- Pour the mixture over crushed ice in a glass, and then add beer.
- Gently stir to blend all ingredients.
- Finally, garnish with a cherry and a slice of orange.
Mint Bliss or Beertos by Naveen Bisht, Mixologist, Café Staywoke
If refreshing cocktails with hints of citrus is your preferred choice, then there is nothing better than this minty, fresh cocktail. The lager beer, along with the mint and lime juice, create a concoction that is sure to become one of your favourites in no time!
Ingredients
- 330 ml Lager Beer
- 60 ml fresh lime juice
- 1 ml. Simple syrup
- 2 dashes of angostura bitters
- pinch of salt
- 8-10 mint leaves
Method
- Gently muddle leaves with lime juice and simple syrup
- And then, add ice.
- Pour the Lager and top with dashes of angostura bitters.
