Jamavar, a popular Indian restaurant in London, has won back its One Michelin Star in the Michelin Guide 2022. Michelin recently announced its list of 2022 stars for restaurants in Great Britain and Ireland, and shared it on social media. After a halt in business for over two years in the hospitality industry due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this seems to be a great start.

According to the official Michelin Guide website, Jamavar London is a “smartly dressed restaurant”, where “the menu looks to all parts of India, with a slight bias towards the north, as well as dishes that would have featured in royal kitchens.”

The website further recommended “dishes from the tandoor including the delicious stone bass tikka”, and also said that “the gucchi lababdar is a must”. It further talked about the ambience, stating, “The restaurant is spread over two floors, but the ground floor is more appealing than downstairs.” The website further recommended, “If you want the full experience, opt for the Tasting Menu.”
