Whenever we hear the term 'Punjabi food', the first thing that usually comes to our minds is chole kulche and that too the one from Amritsar. I personally can't resist satiating Amritsari kulcha as I proudly call myself a die-hard fan of Punjabi food that's filled with oodles of ghee and rich in flavours and nutritious ingredients. This North Indian dish is basically a type of flatbread that was originated in the Indian subcontinent. Kulcha was popularised by Nizams of Hyderabad. It was in fact the official symbol of the Asaf Jahi dynasty and Nawabs of Hyderabad made his Coat of Arms with seven kulchas. Hyderabad is the city that offered an exalted status to Kulcha. If you wish to make a nutritious variety of kulcha, which is paneer kulcha, scroll down to check out its recipe.
