Read on to know.

Smoked Paprika

Bring some pimento pepper and put it over the fire for drying. Now, crush the smoke-dried pepper and sprinkle it over your favourite tandoori dish.

Smoke Olive Oil

You can either simply purchase this oil from a market or prepare the same by infusing smoke from a mix of beech, birch wood, and oak into the oil. Add this smoky olive oil on top of the dish in which you want a smoky aroma.

Black Cardamom

Black cardamom is something that almost everyone usually keeps in their houses. Make full use of the same. Take some black cardamoms and put them over the fire. Then, crush them coarsely and sprinkle on top your favourite dish for that distinct smoky flavor.

Charcoal

Now, this method is something most people are familiar with. Want your curry or tandoori dish to have a smoky flavor? If yes, burn a small piece of charcoal and put it in the dish. Also, add a tablespoon of ghee and cover the container with a lid so that the dish can absorb the smokiness of charcoal.
