"Bura Na Maano, Holi Hai." In various regions of the country as well as around the world, Holi is observed with great fervour and excitement. From throwing water balloons to smearing colours at each other, Holi is all about having fun and laughter. It offers us the chance to savour and cherish the moments spent with our loved ones. ‘Holika Dahan’ and ‘Rangwali Holi’ are the two primary celebrations that make up the festival. On Holika Dahan, people kindle bonfires and celebrate the triumph of good over evil. Similar to this, on the second day of Rangwali Holi, people smear gulal on one another and revel in the festival to the utmost. And just like any other festival, Holi gives yet another opportunity to relish some lip-smacking and delicious food. From gujiya to thandai, from dahi vada to nimki, there are some delicacies that arise during the Holi celebration and make the occasion even more memorable for us!
