One of the most prestigious film festivals of the world, Cannes Film Festival has been a rage among the artists from the film industry for years now. Beginning on 17th May, the festival will go on till 28th of the month at Palais des Festivals in France. Several Indian actors and celebrities have graced the event with their presence. These include Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Urvashi Rautela, Deepika Padukone and many other gorgeous ladies of Bollywood. Among them, we spotted our television and film actress Hina Khan. Her stunning red gown was the talk of the red carpet and she definitely slayed the look with her bold and beautiful smile.
Attending the festival for the second time in a row, Hina Khan left no stone unturned with her sun-kissed pictures against the backdrop of the French Riviera. However, the foodie actress couldn’t obviously stay hungry for long. Soon after the red carpet event, we saw her gorging on a bowl of spaghetti. The actress took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture of a black bowl of spaghetti noodles. Calling it “yummy”, the bowl actually looked heavenly. Since we spotted no veggies except for a few greens here and there, we’re assuming she’s having aglio olio.
Here’s a glimpse of her food.
For those untouched by the phenomenon, spaghetti is a type of pasta with thin and long strands, making it look almost like noodles. While there are a variety of spaghettis, the one that Hina Khan is having is a simple preparation of pasta tossed in garlic and olive oil. This is light and basic dish with minimum ingredients yet delicious flavours.
Looking for more ways to make spaghetti? Here are a few recipes that you can try.
1. Spaghetti Al Curry
Now this may come as a surprise, but there is something known as curried spaghetti and we’ve found it for you. The creamy and flavourful broth made from onions, butter, flour and cream is dunked with boiled spaghetti along with some roasted meat. Seasoned with salt and parsley, this spaghetti is quite filling and creamy.
2. Spaghetti With Meatballs
A hearty and rich preparation, spaghetti with meatballs is a classic that never fails to impress. If you’re a hard-core non-vegetarian, we suggest that you try this recipe. A fiery and hot sauce mixed with the spaghetti, we bet you’ll love the chunky minced meat balls placed on top.
3. Spaghetti Bolognese
Another meaty spaghetti to satiate your taste buds, the meat sauce is rich and thick and mixed with some red wine for an enhanced flavour. Garnish it with chopped basil and grated parmesan cheese and this will leave you wanting more. Onions, garlic and a freshly-made tomato paste go into the making of the pasta and add to the richness of the dish. You can pair this with some toasted garlic-flavoured bread so as to balance the meat-intensive taste of the spaghetti.
