Ingredients

  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 10-12 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • Salt and seasonings for taste ( optional)

Method

  • On a gas stove, roast the tomatoes and 6 to 8 cloves of garlic. Roast the tomato until the outer peel is well burned.
  • Remove the tomatoes' skins and put them in a blender. Peel the burnt garlic, then add it as well. They should be combined to create a smooth paste.
  • Ghee or white butter is heated in a deep pan. Add the remaining garlic, chopped, to the pan.
  • Add the tomato-garlic paste after frying the garlic until it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Simmer it over low heat for a few minutes.
  • Serve it hot with your choice of seasonings. (usually, salt and black pepper).
