Simply roasting the almonds for snacking can appear to be bland. However, to amp up the flavour, but not add some spices to it. This article provides several spices that can elevate the taste of roasted almonds. Take a look:  

  • Cumin  

To amp up the taste of roasted almonds, you can add cumin powder. Cumin powder in Idan cooking is often used in vegetable and meat dishes. Cumin powder is made by roasting and grinding cumin seeds. This powder adds a delicious and comprehensive taste to the bland roasted almonds.  

  • Cinnamon  

Roasted almonds taste amazing when sweet and comforting cardamom powder is sprinkled over it. All you need to do is roast the almonds with the dust of cardamom. It makes the nuts taste delicious owing to its fragrance. The warm and sweet flavour of cardamom pairs excellently with the crunchiness of the almonds.  

  • Black Salt  

Beyond all spices, nothing can beat the tangy taste of the black salt. Black salt pairs perfectly with the nutty taste of the almonds. Black salt is often used to enhance the taste of street foods.   • Chilli Powder

In a pan, add a little ghee/oil and roast the almonds by adding chilli powder and salt. The chilli powder adds heat, depth, and complexity to the nutty flavour of the almonds.
