1. 4 large bitter gourd
2. 1 1/2 medium tomato
3. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
4. 1 tablespoon refined oil
5. 4 leaves coriander leaves

7. 1/4 cup yoghurt (curd)
8. 1 tablespoon coriander powder
9. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
10. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

Method
1. Scrape the karelas to make this intriguing karela recipe. Next, cut them open and take out the seeds.
2. Rub salt over the karelas to make them less bitter, then set them aside.
3. After that, heat some oil in a skillet and shallow-fried the karelas. Using a paper towel, wipe away the extra oil and set aside. Chop the tomatoes and onions in the meantime.
4. Start cooking the tomatoes and onion in another pan. After that, add the spices and simmer for a further two to three minutes. Add the yoghurt to this pan and continue stirring after beating it for a few minutes.
