If you’re in or around Delhi and have never been to The Caffe Cavallo, you’re missing out! The charming cafe is set within a horse riding and sports club in Faridabad and has been inspired by countryside cafes in New Zealand. It is essentially a farm-themed cafe where you can ride horses, pet small animals, enjoy some terrific wood-fired oven pizzas and explore guided art sessions.

The menu at The Caffe Cavallo has a focus on Italian dishes but also features some European classics. Besides wood-fired oven pizzas, you can sample some authentic Italian dishes, such as Caprese Prosciutto, Risotto Al Pomodoro, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio etc. Also expect to find scrumptious East European home-style dishes, such as the Portuguese Cataplana and Pan-seared Norwegian Salmon. You can pair some terrific non-alcholic wine to go along with it!

The main cafe is an airy, open-brick set-up with wooden furniture in and around the premises. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating and you may also choose to sit near the barn where you can see horses running around. The cafe has cute rustic lighting and also sets up outdoor movie nights along with planned art, craft and clay sessions. The horse-themed cafe offers a tranquil country-style set-up that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, although it’s only a stone's throw away.

The best part of the experience is, of course, the horse riding. You can go for a Joy Ride for around 20 minutes (it costs upwards of Rs 600). The cafe also sets up plenty of Sip & Paint sessions which are guide art sessions along with some soft beverages where you can explore your artistic shops. The cafe is scheduling an Art Party on March 15 where participants will be provided with art supplies and they can explore some painting over some snacks.
