Just like her sister Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty loves indulging in good food every now and then. The actor enjoys savouring regional and local delicacies as well; a few weeks ago, she shared a video appreciating Odia food and exploring some delicacies from the cuisine. And now Shamita has gone the full mile during her time in Vadodara as the actor was seen gorging on some delicious Gujarati sweets and savouries.

Shamita visited a snack shop in Vadodara, she picked quite a few of their signature items and sat down for a big and delectable spread, featuring khaman dhokla, lilwani kachori, khandvi, sev khamani, muthiya, paathra, handvo and khasta kachori. Her fans were left impressed with her love for Gujarati snacks and took to the comments section to show their love.

“I can’t believe you can eat all of that,” joked a follower on Instagram. “Why don’t you create a YouTube channel it would do sooo good,” commented another follower.

During her time on the reality show Bigg Boss Shamita had revealed that her body is sensitive to gluten and she avoids gluten-heavy foods due to a condition she suffers from, known as colitis. Shamita addressed this in her caption as well as she didn’t want to leave her fans confused over how she could consume a large amount of starchy foods.

“Vadodara, where my waistline goes on vacation! Guju food coma in full swing, send help... or more dhoklas!!” Shamita wrote.

“PS : for all those wondering how I eat gluten n lactose ..yes I avoid it cause of colitis but I allow myself a lil ,in moderation ( this is key ) course once a week ..so the body dosent become completely intolerant to it!!” she added.

In the video, she can be heard saying, “Main seedha airport se aayi hoon, nashton ke liye. Main Vadodara mein hoon. Actually mujhe Gujarati khana bahut pasand hai. [I have come straight from the airport just for these snacks. I am in Vadodara. I love Gujarati food]. I mean look at the spread.”
