You might automatically think of oranges as a good source of vitamin C when thinking about it. But, you may not be aware, though, that grapes are a fantastic source of vitamin C. These tiny globes are loaded with plenty of deliciousness and other minerals including antioxidants, vitamin K, and potassium.

Since the beginning of civilization, they have been necessary to living a happy life since they are nourishing, sweet as candy, and tasty. Grapes come in a variety of shapes to sate our appetites, whether they are served in fresh bunches, dried snack-friendly nuggets, or with their essence squeezed and fermented into intoxicating elixirs. Together with potassium, which is essential for kidney and heart function, muscle contraction, and nerve signal transmission, vitamin K aids in blood clotting and the maintenance of healthy bones.

Grapes are a great source of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. They are also filled with water, which can help you stay hydrated. To celebrate the arrival of summer, here is a grape masala lemonade.

Ingredients:

8-10 grapes

1/2 tsp sugar

10-12 mint leaves

90 ml lemonade (sugary syrup, lemon and water)

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp black pepper powder

Pinch of salt

Ice cubes

90 ml soda or tonic water

Method:

Combine grapes and sugar in a glass container. Make a purée by blending for 30–40 seconds. Fill a glass with grape purée. Gently press the mint after adding it. Don't mix it; only use it to extract the oil. Add lemonade, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well. Add ice cubes and soda or tonic water to the top.

Choosing the right grapes is important to increasing the potential of an ingredient. Always focus your search by selecting the grapes that have a consistent colour and are still attached to their stems. Also, stay away from any that are diseased and bruised. Grapes typically keep for three to five days, and it is best to refrigerate and store them in a paper bag to maintain freshness. Enjoy! Wash the grapes thoroughly before eating.
