How To Prepare Gongura Pulao?

First, give the rice a good rinse and let it soak in water for about half an hour. Add the coriander, mustard, and cumin seeds to a pan of heated oil. When the seeds start spluttering add the onions and sauté till they turn golden brown.

Mince the ginger and garlic and add to the pan. Stir for a while and add the chicken and cook for a few minutes. When the cooking is done, mix the gongura leaves, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, and green chilies. 

Mix the chicken and the gongura leaves thoroughly. After that, add the rinsed and soaked rice and thoroughly stir to evenly distribute the masalas. Add the water and boil it. Once the rice is cooked and the water has been absorbed, lower the heat, cover the pan, and simmer. 

Using a fork, fluff the rice and serve hot! The gongura kodi pulao is prepared for consumption.
