Mumbai-based restaurateur Gauri Devidayal – whose brainchild has been The Table, Iktara and Magazine Street Kitchen – recently shared a few glimpses of her favourite restaurants and bars, while on vacation in Goa. Holidaying in beach state’s capital with husband and business partner Jay Yousuf, the entrepreneur appeared to be relaxed and all smiles as they were seated at a table overlooking a colourful wall in one of the photographs. Also shared as part of the trip’s highlights during a day-out in Panjim, was an image of a loaded sandwich with barbecued meat, that Gauri relished at Miski Bar.

Following the carb-loaded treat, Gauri made a headway for the popular Miguel’s bar, a stone’s throw away from Miski – where she enjoyed a crisp cocktail that was garnished with a wheel of scorched lime and sugar rim. Pairing her libation with a small serving of crackers at the popular bar known for its balanced cocktails and Portuguese-inspired small plates, the couple also dropped by the well-known Mo’s Café for desserts and coffee. Another pit stop in Gauri’s Panjim itinerary was to pay a visit to Larder & Folk – known for its artisanal breads, sandwiches and bakes.

Got our fill of beer, cocktails, the forbidden meat, coffee, cookies and shopping.” The eclectic and bustling restaurant scene in Panjim has given way to many interesting places that serve bespoke culinary experiences for every kind of diner.
