When in Mumbai, live it up like Gary Mehigan! The celebrity chef who returned to India after a short break where he paid a visit home, raved about a meal he enjoyed at Chef Niyati Rao’s cuisine-agnostic, ingredient-first restaurant in Fort – Ekaa. The former Masterchef Australia judge was all praises for the tasting menu curated by Rao, which included dishes like liver toast, house pork sausage, fried chicken, fermented cauliflower, coconut bebinca and wild cashew ice cream.
Gary posted a slew of images from the meal, as well as a sweet picture of himself posing with the team of chefs at the restaurant. He captioned the post, “I’ve had so much good food lately I don’t know where to start but first meal back in India was outstanding…Special thanks to Niyati Rao and the team @ekaamumbai for being such a genuinely happy and crack squad of professionals…loved it and next visit I’m going again.”
