Much-awaited G20 Summit 2023 is going in full swing in the National Capital. As the national capital region is hosting this prestigious gathering of delegates from across the globe, the city has adorned itself in grandeur with the presence of World leaders and Heads of State. Apart from several key agendas, security arrangements and cultural activities, special emphasis was paid to food so that it could show the rich culinary heritage of Bharat. 

On Day 1 of the G20 Summit 2023, the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) hosted a lavish luncheon and a splendid exhibition for the members of the family of heads of State. The lunch menu consisted of an array of cuisines, offering scrumptious Indian dishes like 'Tadka dal', ‘jowar roti', and ‘chaat’ among others. Spouses and family members of the Head Of State were also served dishes like 'Pumpkin and Coconut Shorba,' 'Naga Black Rice Bhel,' 'Beetroot and Peanut Butter Tikki,' and 'Bengal Mustard,'.

Further, the menu consisted of ‘Anar Kulfi Sorbet’, ‘Slow Roast Pumpkin with Coconut Curry’, ‘Appalam’, ‘Wild Nettle Raita’, ‘Herb Jowar Roti’, ‘Coconut and Curry Leaf Pulao’. Not just this, the guests were also served Haji Ali-inspired dessert, the ‘Custard Apple Cream’. Let us tell you that the extravagant lunch and exhibition was organized for spouses and family members while the world leaders discussed some key agendas during the G20 Summit 2023.

The family members were also given a tour of the 1,200-acre Pusa-IARI campus in New Delhi, UK PM Rishi Sunak's wife Akshata Murthy among others was also spotted at the landmark event.
