With all that it has to offer, Bengaluru can be considered a foodie’s haven. Delhi may have its chaat and Mumbai its vada pav, but Bengaluru isn’t far behind when it comes to street food. From traditional South Indian dishes to other ones that can be found across India, Bengaluru is home to all kinds of street food. We recommend some of the best street food in the city:

The pancake made with rice flour, chopped onions and tomatoes is omnipresent in most South Indian cities, and Bangalore is no different. Served with coconut chutney and sambar, it makes a snack or meal that’s lighter than dosa. It can be found nearly anywhere, from smaller street stalls to larger restaurants. Madurai Idly Shop is a restaurant chain that serves a tasty version of the snack.
