Whether you live in hostels, are trekking in the Himalayas, or need something quick and satiating after work, noodles always do the trick. It is the easiest thing to just tear open the packet and boil them, and guess what you would be surprised to know just how versatile these boiled noodles can turn out to be. From Maggi cutlets to Maggi omelettes, these instant noodles can be used in myriad ways to spruce up your everyday snacks. Bread roll, is a common fixture in most tea stalls, cafes and bakeries around India. These baked goods usually come with a stuffing of spicy, mixed vegetables like paneer, capsicum and potato. They may or may not contain chicken, but we are sure, none of them have ever comprised instant noodles.

This is one incredibly simple recipe that you can whip up in no time. Honestly, with a packet of instant noodles, you do not want to toil in the kitchen for a long time anyway, right?

Here’s a detailed recipe of Magi Bread Roll by homechef Chirag.

Ingredients:

  • A bowl of cooked Maggi noodles
  • 4 Slices of bread
  • Oil for frying
  • Water for cooking and dipping

Method:

  1. Take a pot or pan, add 1 ½ cups of water to the pan, and allow it to come to a boil.
  2. Add the instant noodles along with the masala. Let it cook.  
  3. Once the Maggi is cooked take it out in a bowl.
  4. Take one slice of bread, and cut out the edges.
  5. Dip it in a bowl of water gently, take it out and squeeze out the excess water.
  6. Now take a spoon of Maggi and add some right in the centre. Fold the edges of the bread, and seal the edges by applying slight pressure.
  7. Fry these bread pockets in oil.
  8. Serve hot with ketchup or any dip of your choice.
