Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Oats
- ½ Cup + 3 tbsp Milk
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Melted Butter (unsalted)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
- ¼ tsp Salt
- Butter/Oil for cooking
For Serving-
- Honey / Maple Syrup
- Fruits
- Chopped Nuts
Method Of Preparation:
- Add oats in a grinder jar and grind it coarsely
- Take a mixing bowl, add oats, milk (save some for later) and other ingredients except baking powder and whisk them well to make a smooth batter
- Cover and rest the batter for around 15 minutes (Resting is important because it makes the oat get absorbed in milk and turn fluffy)
- After 15 minutes, check the consistency of the batter and if it is thick then add 2-3 tablespoons of milk and baking powder and combine well
- Grease a heavy bottomed pan / skillet with butter or oil and wipe off the excess oil
- Pour the batter with a scoop and make sure the pancakes should be of same sizes
- Once there is bubble on the batter, flip it to the other side; cook it for 10-15 seconds
- The pancakes are ready to be served
