Luffa Flower Sabzi

Ingredients:

  1. Luffa flower buds - 2 small bowls
  2. Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp
  3. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  6. Cumin - half teaspoon
  7. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  8. Asafoetida - 1 pinch
  9. Salt - as per taste
  10. Oil - as required
  11. Green chilli - 3
  12. Tomato - 2
  13. Onion – 1

Method:

  1. First, after washing the flower buds thoroughly, take them out on a plate
  2. Heat water and simmer it in the pan
  3. Then, put the flower buds of luffa in it and let it boil for 5 minutes
  4. Now turn on the gas on the other side, put the pan and let it heat a bit
  5. Then, put two spoons of oil mixed with cumin and asafetida in it
  6. After 1 minute, add finely chopped onion to it
  7. Fry the onion for 2 minutes and then mix the garlic-ginger paste
  8. After that, fry it while stirring for two minutes
  9. Then, add finely chopped tomatoes
  10. After two minutes of adding tomatoes, mix all the spices and salt according to taste and fry it for a few minutes.
  11. Mix the buds of luffa flowers, cover the pan and cook for about 5 minutes. Keep checking that the vegetables do not stick to the pan from time to time.
  12. After 5 minutes, the vegetable curry of luffa florets will be ready.

Gulmohar Flower Sabzi

Ingredients:

  1. Gulmohar flower petals - 20 to 25
  2. Green Coriander - to garnish
  3. Turmeric - half teaspoon
  4. Whole coriander - 1 tsp
  5. Garlic cloves - 5 to 6
  6. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Whole red chilli - 4
  8. salt - as per taste
  9. Fennel - 1 tsp
  10. Tomato - 2
  11. Oil - 2 tsp
  12. Onion – 1

Procedure:

  1. First, prepare a paste by mixing two whole red chillies, turmeric, garlic buds and water in a mixer jar. 
  2. Next, please turn on the gas and put the pan; add oil when it becomes slightly hot.
  3. Add mustard seeds, fennel, garlic and turmeric paste after the crackle
  4. During this, keep stirring it with a spoon and fry for two minutes; after this, mix finely chopped onions and tomatoes
  5. Now, mix salt as per taste and cover the pan for two minutes
  6. Then, wash the petals of gulmohar and mix them well
  7. Cover it back after a minute or two and keep checking in between
  8. It will be cooked after 5 to 6 minutes; garnish it with green coriander before serving

Papaya Flower Sabzi

Ingredients:

  1. Papaya flowers - 1 bowl
  2. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  3. Green chillies - 3 to 4
  4. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  5. Garlic cloves - 3 to 4
  6. Salt - as per taste
  7. Oil - as required
  8. Cumin - 1 tsp
  9. Potato - 2
  10. Onion – 1

Procedure:

  1. First, peel and slice the potatoes into tiny bits
  2. Now, wash the papaya flower thoroughly and keep it on a plate
  3. Put the pan on gas and add about three spoons of oil. After the oil is hot, put cumin and green chillies in the pan
  4. After this, add chopped garlic onion and mix it. When the onion becomes light brown, mix potatoes in it
  5. When the potatoes are half cooked, add papaya flowers to them and cover the pan for a minute or two
  6. Remove the plate after two minutes and mix turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt as per taste
  7. Fry it for about 2 to three minutes, then cover it back with a plate
  8. After 4 to 5 minutes, it will be ready and served with roti
