The Republican in the race for the White House was seen in Philadelphia, while campaigning in Pennsylvania, serving customers at McDonald’s. There are pictures of him serving fries and chatting with customers in the drive-thru.
A video on the internet shows Trump saying, “I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s.” Taking a jibe at Harris, he also said, “I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” insinuating that she never worked at the popular American fast-food chain.
Donald Trump Violates Safety Regulations At McDonald’s
If you look closely at the video in which the Republican is serving food at McDonald’s, he is neither wearing gloves nor a hair net. While both come under the food safety violations, this act does not paint Trump on the side of the truth as he claims to be a germaphobe.
He was wearing a yellow apron and claimed that his hands were “nice and clean.” There are a few reports that indicate Trump did not even wash his hands before he started serving food at the said McDonald’s outlet.
Donald Trump Staged His 15 Minutes Job At McDonald’s
According to a recent report by the Hindustan Times, Donald Trump working at McDonald’s was nothing more than a PR stunt. Reportedly, Redditors have presented evidence claiming that a note was put by the outlet’s manager saying, “We plan to be closed on Sunday, October 20, 2024, until 4pm to accommodate a visit at the request of former President Trump and his campaign.”
“I apologise for the inconvenience of closing our restaurant and sincerely look forward to serving you very soon,” the note concluded.
McDonald’s Will Be Neutral During The USA Elections
After all the controversies surrounding Trump's work in the fast food chain, McDonald’s has released a statement. It reads, “McDonald’s does not endorse candidates for elected office, and that remains true in this race for the next President.” It further clarified, “We’re not red or blue - we’re golden.”
In his bid to take over Kamala Harris, Trump has dug a hole for himself with French fries and burgers. People are no longer focused on whether Harris had worked at the fast food chain but on calling out the Republican for violating food safety regulations even if everything was staged.
