1. Modak

Modak is a very famous Maharashtrian sweet, which is popularly made during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. All you need is some rice flour for outer covering and coconut and jaggery for stuffing. 2. Oats Kheer

The conventional rice kheer is given a healthy twist by replacing rice with oats. It is a very low-budget and effortfless recipe that requires only four ingredients. All you need is some milk, oats, jaggery and some dry fruits. It's also prepared within a very short period and does not require much of your attention or energy. All you have to do is let milk heat on a low flame and then add oats to it. Now let it cook for sometime and then add jaggery powder for that sweetness. You can top off the final recipe by adding some dry fruits. It has a very comforting test and soothes your heart during the festive time.

3. Almond Kulfi

Almond Kulfi is the right dessert recipe to welcome the approaching winter. It has a very smooth and creamy texture along with hints of saffron and almond that enhance the flavour. The kulfi is a much healthier version of the processed ice creams available in the market with artificial flavours. All you need to do is take some blanched almonds and half a cup of condensed milk in a bowl. Now add some saffron for that richness. If you want, you can also add 3 to 4 tablespoons of cream to make the mixture heavier. 

You can also add dry fruits of your choice. Now take a container and put butter paper on it. Pour the mixture on the butter paper and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 to 5 hours. But the dates and nuts ladoo are not only tasty but extremely healthy as well. These are easy to make and you only need 15 minutes to prepare them. To make these ladoos take some large dates that are pitted along with some nuts of your choice. You can also add some coconut powder if you like. 

Take the dates and keep them in a pan or a microwave until they get soft. Make sure that you roast the nuts before adding them to the dates. Now add the coconut powder and softly blend the whole mixture in a blender or with your hands if you want. Make small round-shaped ladoos from the mixture and enjoy them with your family and friends. 5. Badam Barfi

For the people who like having their barfi crunchy and flavourful, this is exactly what you need in your life. This is packed with the goodness of nuts and is an absolute reward for the taste buds. All you need is some mava and nuts. You can also use some nutmeg powder for flavour enhancement. A pinch of cardamom is also recommended. Mix all of these ingredients and let it heat on a medium flame for at least five minutes. 

You can add some jaggery powder if you want sweetness. Now grease a pan and put the mixture on it. Let the mixture sit on the pan for some time. You can cut it into square or rectangular pieces and enjoy it with your family. This is a perfect option for Diwali Prasad after your Aarti.
