Making pancakes isn’t really a tough job. All you need to do is make a good pancake batter with the right consistency and then pour the batter onto the pan in a circular shape. The pancake is cooked on one side and then flipped, to be cooked on the other. There are a variety of toppings you can add to your pancakes. Here are a few ways to amp up the pancakes and enjoy breakfast.

1.  Strawberry-Banana Pancakes

A quick and easy way to spruce up your pancakes is by adding some chopped fruits to it. While all kinds of berries go really well with pancakes, it is strawberries that can do wonders to your plate. Add some sliced strawberries as well as chopped bananas to your pancake and drizzle honey syrup over it.

2.  Green Pancakes

Not only can the toppings be made interesting, you can play around with the pancake batter too. Mix some green food colour into batter of baking soda, flour, milk and eggs. Cook the green pancakes are top them with a layer of whipped cream and colourful sprinklers.

3.  Blueberry Pancakes

The thick and fluffy pancakes are best paired with a creamy sauce or a sweet, thick syrup. Maple syrup and honey are great options. To add some more element to the breakfast, blueberries can be topped on the pancakes and enjoyed.
