Desi girl Priyanka Chopra has returned back to Mumbai after a whole gap of 3 long years and she cannot help but fall in love with the city all over again. From the fans to the view from her home and especially the food, PeeCee certainly seems to be enjoying every single thing about the city, that has been her home for 2 decades now. Right from her fashion choices to her confidence while strutting around the B-Town, the Matrix star has been at the center of all the attention. But what caught our attention was the wonderful Indian food spread that she posted on her Instagram story.

In the picture, we can see Priyanka marveling at the humongous spread which consists of samosa, rice, chicken curries, dal, kebabs and in true Indian style, a salad made of onions, green chillies and lemon. Priyanka did not forget to tag her family and friends who sent her such amazing food. She especially thanked longtime colleague turned friend Mubina Rattonsey, who reposted the story and wished PCJ a very happy homecoming. Along with her, she also thanked Aunty, sister Laali, Vivek and Aziz Master, who have all been close to the actress for years now. Her cation for the post showed her gratitude towards her friends and family in Mumbai who have very generously kept her well-fed.

Priyanka posted a story about her home made Indian meal | Instagram - @priyankachopra

Priyanka, as we all know, is a huge foodie. So much so, that the actress combined her passion for food with her entrepreneurial skills and opened her own restaurant in the US, called Sona NYC. She is often seen sharing amazing dinner snaps from the place and generously praising the chefs who work there. Although she gets Indian food in New York, Priyanka truly misses her ghar ka khana. So, this time, after visiting India after such a long gap, she is making sure that she has as much home-cooked Indian food as possible.

Priyanka’s story and the caption is a proof that wherever you go, you are bound to miss and relish your ghar ka desi khana the most. We hope that during PCJ’s stay in Mumbai she gets to eat all the food that she has missed out on in the past 3 years.
