Non-vegetarians have a lot of things to thank mutton for. From the delicious Rogan Josh to the Bengali Creamy Rezala, mutton dishes in India are truly decadent and scrumptious. And if you ask us Delhites about mutton, we won’t waste a minute praising the Purani Dilli mutton dishes. That’s how delicious and loved mutton is.

We know vegetarians must be quite blank about what we are talking about right now, so here are some clues. One of the best things about mutton is the texture. Soft, tender and succulent, mutton is one of the best melt-in-the-mouth meats. Next, the flavour of mutton is all things delicious and is perfect to be paired with rice or any flatbread. Too tempting for you to try? Well, if it is, then this Delhi-based vendor has got you covered. Yes, you read it right. A street food vendor in Delhi is selling veg mutton and Delhites are all surprised and impressed at the same time. Take a look at it yourself:

In this video uploaded by the Instagram food blogger with the username @thefoodiehat, we can see a vendor making veg mutton. He first adds some butter, onions and some herbs to a tawa and starts melting the butter and cooking the onions and herbs till they are mushy and translucent. Next, he proceeds to add a dark-coloured bhuna masala along with some tender soya chunks to the butter and onion mix and begins to cook the bhuna masala. In the end, he added some cream and chopped herbs and served this veg mutton with kulchas and onion rings on the side.

The video was uploaded with the caption, “This is for all those people jisko mutton chicken pasand but kabhi kabhi kha nahi paate 🤣🤣”. According to the blogger, this veg mutton is available at a street stall, named ‘Nutri Kulcha’ at Vijay Nagar, Delhi.
