Can you think of a time when you were disappointed by a plate of Maggi? Hard to recollect, right? From fueling us during an adventurous trek, or serving as a mid-meal grub on a very busy day. This pack of instant noodles has been our saviour on so many occasions that we have lost track. And while we are certainly not on board with atrocious experiments like Fanta Maggi and Chocolate Maggi, sometimes, we do like to turn up things a notch. Take Cheese Maggi for instance, you can easily find it across various street food thelas and cafés. But guess what, you can create the same magic at home too with this easy, peasy recipe. And now with the weather taking a pleasant turn, you have all the more reasons to make it at home. Afterall, 'Barish wali Maggi' is an emotion, right?

Comprising simple, everyday ingredients like shredded cheese, onions and chillies, this Maggi is comfort served in a bowl.

You do not have to do much, just heat vegetable oil or any neutral flavoured oil in a pan and when the oil is hot, add chopped onions and green chillies. Fry for 2-3 minutes consistently. Then add veggies of your choice. This recipe used peas, and carrots. After you have added the veggies, you just have to add regular processed cheese, you can either grate it and toss a block, followed by Maggi, the tastemaker along with 1 and a half cups of water. If you want the Maggi to be soupier, you can increase the quantity of the water. Cook for two minutes, stir again, cook for another two minutes. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.

Since it is cheese Maggi and cooked with a lot of vegetables, the noodles will be softer. Make sure you add adequate amounts of water to ensure that these noodles do not end up becoming a mushy mess.

If you like the noodles al dente, then it is advisable to wait for the water to come to a boil and then add the Maggi. Proceed with other shenanigans, add the tastemaker, or any other spices you want. But the same is not recommended for the recipe, however, if you are a Maggi lover you are bound to fall in love with this recipe.

Here is the complete recipe with a full list of ingredients. It will hardly take you more than ten minutes to put it together. So, try it soon and let us know how you liked it.
