2. The batter must be of medium consistency
Always remember that the consistency of the batter should neither be too thick nor too thin. It can be similar to a dosa batter but slightly thinner than that. Make sure to add water accordingly. Leave the batter to ferment for at least 30 minutes or an hour even if you are using an instant mix. This helps the batter gain tiny pores or air pockets. 3. Use coconut milk for softness
