Today we have a very healthy chicken corn a recipe for you that you can make if you're trying to have a light and healthy dinner.
Ingredients
- 500 grams boneless chicken
- 50 grams corn
- 2 tablespoon pepper
- 1 diced carrot
- Salt as required
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Two eggs
- Butter
Method
- In the saucepan put the chicken along with salt, pepper and 4 cups of water and boil it for 15 minutes.
- When the chicken is boiled, shred it and keep it aside.
- In this same boiling water, add your corn and your diced carrots.
- Close the lid and let the vegetables boil for around 10 minutes on medium flame.
- Open the lid and add cornstarch slurry into the soup.
- After cooking for 5 minutes on low flame, add the shredded chicken.
- When you see that the soup has reached a consistency that is a little thin than what you desire, break the eggs one by one and put them in it.
- Stir continuously while putting your eggs in the soup.
- Cook for 5 more minutes and then just before switching off the flame add your butter.
The soup is ready to serve hot. You can garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy a bowl full of comfort and happiness.
