Ingredients

  • 200 gm butter
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 gm khoya
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 150 lt milk
  • Handful of chopped pistachios and almonds

Method

  • Take a bowl and add butter.
  • Whip the butter into a smooth consistency.
  • Now, add powdered sugar and whip till light and fluffy.
  • You will see a pale and creamy texture.
  • Then, add 4 eggs one by one to the batter.
  • Whisk everything together.
  • Now, add khoya and mix well.
  • Then, take all-purpose flour, baking powder, and cardamom powder and sift them into the batter.
  • Mix everything together. Cut and fold.
  • Now add milk and combine everything together.
  • Take a prepared mould and add the batter to it.
  • Even out the batter and sprinkle chopped pistachios and almonds over it.
  • Bake the cake for 45 mins in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Garnish with dry rose petals and serve.
