Ingredients:

    2 frozen shortcrust pastry sheets

    8 eggs

3 thinly sliced and caramelized onions

    1 tablespoon of butter

    2 tablespoons thyme sprigs

    1 teaspoon salt

    Olive oil

Method:

Begin by placing the shortcrust pastry sheets into a pie tin.

Freeze them for a few hours so that they take proper shape.

Meanwhile, caramelize onions in a pan with sugar, sea salt, and thyme.

Next, take the shortcrust out of the pie and bake it for some time.

Once done, add caramelized onions to the base of the pastry.

Make space and crack open an egg in each of them.

    Garnish with parmesan cheese.

Bake for about 20 minutes, until golden-brown.
