Useful Tips

  • Be sure you use premium products.
  • As tomatoes and basil are both in season in the summer, it is the greatest time to make Caprese skewers.
  • Caprese skewers taste best when eaten the same day they are prepared while the basil is still crisp and fragrant.
  • They may be assembled up to 4 hours ahead of time and kept refrigerated, making them perfect for a party. Just before serving, toss with the olive oil, seasoning, and vinegar.
  • Try swapping out part of the tomatoes for strawberries or sliced peaches or switching out the basil for fresh mint.
