There are so many forms of eggs that we know. Some of us like eating hard-boiled eggs, whereas others like eating an egg omelette. It is one of the most convenient breakfast options and goes along with almost everything. You can add it to your ramen bowl to increase the protein content and put it in your cake to make it more fluffy. Most of us are acquainted with multiple uses of eggs, but we also believe in some myths that have been spread by unreliable sources so much so that it has become the ultimate truth. Today we will bust some of the most common myths surrounding eggs.

* Eggs Lead To Acne

Eggs do not contribute towards acne or pimples until you are allergic to them. Eggs are filled with healthy proteins and fats that contribute towards increasing the quality of your skin and hair. Many people avoid eating eggs as they consider it a dairy product that triggers acne. You shouldn't believe in any such myth because eggs do not create any skin-related problems until you're medically allergic to eggs.

* Eggs Increase Cholesterol

You should not limit your egg consumption until you're already suffering from high cholesterol levels. If you have been diagnosed with more than the recommended cholesterol levels in your body then you should not eat the egg yolk and only eat the white part as it has good proteins and amino acids. If you are lactose intolerant or allergic to eggs, then you must avoid eating eggs but otherwise, there is no harm in eating eggs even regularly. Eggs are very healthy and give the needed nutrition to your body.

* Eggs And Milk Are Not A Good Combination

Milk and eggs both are filled with the goodness of protein and good fats. They also have amino acids that are extremely important for the efficient functioning of our body. The combination of both of these foods is very healthy for your body unless you are lactose intolerant. This is a great breakfast option on the days when you do not have a lot of time but want to eat something complete and nourishing.

* Yolks Are Unhealthy

Many times you would have come across people who throw egg yolks because they think that it leads to obesity. Yolk is a very rich source of healthy fat and protein which is important if you are trying to build your muscles and improve bone health. One should always consume egg yolks in limited quantities as it might put extra kilos in your body especially if you have a slow metabolic system. If you are trying to gain weight then egg yolks are a boon for you.

* Eggs Are Not Good For Kidney

Another very pervasive myth about eggs is that they're not good for your kidneys and can lead to irreversible damage. But actually, the truth is the opposite. Having a couple of eggs regularly can improve the overall health of your kidneys and provide needed protein content to your body. It also helps in providing a shield to your kidney and prevents any kind of unwanted health-related complications.

* Raw Eggs Have More Protein

Many people think that consuming raw eggs provides you with more nutritional content than cooking eggs and then eating them. There is no scientific evidence that proves that consuming raw eggs by mixing them in your milkshake will give you more nutrition. There is a higher chance of suffering from food poisoning. Instead of putting yourself at a higher risk of indigestion, you should rather cook your eggs before eating them.

* Washing Eggs Removed Bacteria

A lot of people watch their eggs before storing them in refrigerators to cook them. Instead of making the egg clean, washing your eggshell can increase the chances of bacterial growth. If you think that an egg is excessively dirty then instead of washing it vigorously with soap you should simply discard it. Never wash your eggs as it promotes unnecessary growth of bacteria that might also affect the interior of your eggs.

These are some of the most common myths about the consumption of eggs that you should stay away from. Before you believe any myth, it is important to check the scientific grounds behind it.
