Hosting a party at home is no easy task. In fact, it can be challenging right from the time you start to plan it. From chalking out décor to planning the menu and then executing it to a T, everything together can be too much to handle, at times. But food must be given priority, it should always be top-notch. Especially, if you have foodies like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malaika Aroa on the guestlist. And for that it seems like Karisma Kapoor is a perfect inspiration, after she hosted the two alongside other guests including Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar and Amrita Arora, among others at her home.
Recently Karisma hosted a lavish dinner for her close friends, who often take time from their hectic schedules to spend time with each other and have a gala time. Maybe that’s why you would often also see the group making headlines. While the party indeed seemed like a close-knit affair, we got a sneak-peek through some inside pictures some of them posted on Instagram. But one that grabbed our attention was that of the amazing table that was set by Karisma for her guests, which also gave away the lavish menu for the night! And let us tell you, it is sure to make you drool.
Taking to Instagram, Malaika shared a snapshot of the dining table. Set with different plates and bowls full of food, we could see chicken curry, a platter of fried fish, mutton curry, biryani, raita and an assortment of bread and pickles. And amid all this, we could also see what seemed like a bowl of dal in the corner. Take a look:
Looks like a feast one wouldn’t want to miss, isn’t it? "Uff yum @therealkarismakapoor", Malaika wrote on the picture on her Instagram story.
Amrita too shared Malaika’s picture and wrote "Yum". On the other side, Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep Kapoor too attended the dinner, and the latter too took to Instagram to share a picture from the other side of the table.
