Bhumi Pednekar is one of those celebrities in Hindi cinema who has always been vocal about her foodie cravings and her culinary adventures. Wherever she travels, she is known to indulge in scrumptious delicacies, be it a Mediterranean repast or some quintessential ghee roast from southern India. In a recent reel, she shared yet another culinary delight with her fans while shooting for an ad film in Kolkata.

The Bollywood actor known for her versatile work and her extremely emotive character portrayals can be seen gorging on a classic Kolkata delicacy, the aloo posto. Inviting her fans to peek into her delicious meal, she has written in the caption, "Life right now is—. Sound on to know."

Aloo posto is a traditional Bengali dish made with a meagre but intense amount of spices and flavours, including green chillies, onions, kaloo jeer (nigella seeds), and, of course, posto, or poppy seeds. Rightly devouring this dish with her hands, the actor seems to be relishing a plateful of Bengali foods, enjoying the posto with a piece of what looks like lucchi, or the Bengali flatbread. As she does so, she exclaims, "Amazing," and no wonder!
