She starts by introducing how vegetarians always struggle to complete the protein requirement as you can always get tired of eating dal (lentils) every day.

So, Bhagyashree reveals that she makes chole every 7-10 days to make up for the protein content. Then, you can add the soaked chole and chai ka pani (tea water) to a pressure cooker and cook for 4-5 whistles.

In the meantime, you can prepare the tampering by heating some oil and adding hing (asafoetida), jeera (cumin seeds), tej patta (bay leaf), lehsun (garlic), adrak (ginger), grated onion, green chilli, chopped onion, red chilli powder, chole masala spice mix, some water and roast till aromatic. Once you get a consistent mixture, add the masala to chole. Pressure cook again for two more whistles. Finally, you can garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
